Great sound! The sound is lighter/softer than LP RhythMix egg shakers, but not too quiet, nor is it as loud and high pitched as Basic Beat plastic maracas (BBM2, BBM3). Sturdy: I’ve had these for several years as a music therapist and they have not broken.
